I’ve seen a lot of teeth like this taken out so the “lesion can be removed”, taken out because “cysts don’t heal”, taken out because “the prognosis of a tooth with a big lesion is poor”, etc… . Guess what, this young lady, like most people wanted to save her tooth, and she was referred to me from a few cities away to save it. . Even in the age of , I treated this tooth in three visits over six months and didn’t obturate until I could confirm healing. By doing this, we avoided extraction and avoided an unnecessary palatal surgery. . I find that when done right and with enough effort, almost every case will heal, weather the lesion is big or looks like a cyst. Just check my feed or a lot of other feeds
